MATH 121B COURSE CONTRACT Fall 2014 Course meets: In Votey 367 MWF 9:30 to 10:45 am; Thursdays from 10 am to 11:15 am in L/LA A101. Do not make plans to leave campus before the final exam. I will not let you take the final exam before the scheduled time. Attendance policy: I take attendance at the beginning of every class. You start off with 4 bonus points added to your overall average. For each unexcused absence, you lose one bonus point. Excused absences will not cause the loss of a bonus point. Examples: Course Average number of unexcused absences Final Average 95 0 95 + 4 = 99 83 1 83 + 3 = 86 72 4 72 + 0 = 72 64 7 64 + 0 = 64 Academic honesty – all students are expected to abide by the university’s code of ethics and honesty. Any student with a documented learning difference should contact me within the first week of classes Any information will be kept confidential. Make-ups. I generally do not give make-ups. An exception will be made if you miss a test or a quiz due to a religious holiday or due to an approved university activity.
