Roger L. Berger, Duxbury, 2nd ed.
COURSE OUTLINE: The textbook provides an introduction to
probability and inferential statistics. The
introductory probability involves primarily
probability modeling and a variety of examples
and exercises that are oriented toward
applications in the sciences. We shall begin
with Properties of a Random Sample (Chapter 5). We
will cover Chapters 5 - 9. Some sections will be
skipped. We already covered chapters 1-4 in stat 251.
