What is Summer Abroad?
•
Students earn full-year Arts & Science full-year credit or half-year
Applied Science & Engineering credit: NOT a transfer credit
•
Generally taught by U of T faculty
•
Course is taught in English and is relevant to the location
•
Most courses have no prerequisites
•
No conflict with regular school calendar
•
All the arrangements are made by U of T (accommodation, group
flights, field trips etc.)
•
On-site staff hired by U of T (non-academic)

Eligibility:
• U of T students must have a CGPA of 1.50 or higher (not on
probation or suspension)
