NOTICE OF PROJECT
DV 3023-3025 (Series labs) Laboratory Renovation
UTM Project# 2015-16-02
Start Date: October 19, 2015
Completion Date: March 30th, 2016
FPM will be implementing a laboratory renovation project in Davis Building, 3rd floor A Block, rooms: 3023,
3023C, 3025A, 3025, 3025 B, C, D, as per attached floor plan.
The proposed project will provide expansion of Professor P. Gunning’s lab to support research activities
and improve energy conservation by using high efficiency fume hoods.
The new research space (DV 3025 & DV 3025A) will have Biophysical laboratory and Chemical handling
area, improving material management and storage in the existing and new areas.
The HVAC will be upgraded to provide adequate ventilation, heating and cooling for all renovated areas.
The construction phase will be managed and sequenced in such way to minimize disruption to the lab
users and adjacent areas; however, some site-specific construction noise and vibration shall be expected.
The Contractor will start the minor demolition work, the week of October 18th, 2015. Updates on project
