The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is one
of the premier institutions in the country working in the field of Linking Education with Culture. Its main objective
is to organize a variety of training programmes for in-service teachers from Primary to Senior Secondary level,
teacher educators (including DIET Lecturers) and administrators in order to emphasize the need of linking
Education with Culture.
The participating teachers/educators are made aware of incorporating a cultural component in in-service and preservice training by using methodologies prepared by CCRT for cultural orientation and preparation of teachingL____
Th learning material under the Scheme 'Propagation of Culture among Students'. The Ministry of Culture, Government
of India has entrusted the responsibility of organizing training programmes for Teachers and Teacher Educators to
the CCRT.
‘......i order to achieve its objective, CCRT is organizing Tribal Teachers Training Programmes on "Enhancing
Understanding of Indigenous Traditions" for Tribal Teachers as per the details given below:

The objective of the above said training programmes are as follows:
•
To provide opportunities to develop a wide range of intellectual and other skills for devising methodologies to introduce
cultural components in classroom teaching to make teaching — learning a total experience.
•
To explore the possibilities of incorporating local resources in curriculum teaching.
•
To highlight the need for aesthetics, culture and value oriented education so that the future generations are aware of their
cultural roots.
To strengthen an understanding of the diversity of rich cultural heritage to promote enduring inherent values of Indian
•
Culture.
In this regard, you are requested to kindly issue the necessary instructions to the concerned authority to depute 20 tribal teachers
each in all the above said training progamme, teaching class 1 to 10 from the Government, Government Aided Schools and
Tribal schools. The deputed teachers may be asked to report at above mentioned venue.
While deputing the Tribal Teachers, the following guidelines may be followed mandatorily:
1.
Teachers up to the age of 52 years are only eligible to attend the Training Programme.
2.
Teachers teaching all the subjects except Physical Education/Yoga are eligible.
3.
Teachers who have already attended the CCRT'S training Programme earlier are not eligible to attend the above said
Training Programme(s).
4.
Teachers will be paid TA/DA as per Annex I.

The deputation orders, issued by your department adhering to above guidelines will be honoured by CCRT and no separate
selection letters from CCRT will be issued.

Logistics
Traveling Allowance:
1.
The teacher participants of a Training Programme are entitled to travel by AC 3-tier/ AC Chair Car/
Sleeper class of all the trains, as the case may be, from their nearest railway station to the venue of
the programme.
2.
Those who travel by bus from outstation are entitled to claim deluxe bus fare subject to the
production of bus ticket failing which the fare will be restricted to ordinary bus fare. The teachers
who are employed on contract basis will be reimbursed only ordinary bus fare. Teachers are
required not to travel by AC buses.
3.
For local road journey i.e. from school to Railway Station/Bus Stand, the reimbursement will be
made as actual distance or upto 8 Km whichever is less @ Rs. 8/- per km.

4.
For local road journey from the nearest Railway Station/Bus Stand to the venue of the training
programme, the teachers will be paid Auto/Bus fare as per Centre's rule
Please note that the Rail/Bus fare will be reimbursed by the CCRT if original/photocopies of the tickets
are attached to the T.A. Bills for inward as well as outward journey failing which the claim will be
restricted to rail fare by sleeper class.
No break in journey is permissible as per rules. Teachers are requested to buy direct journey ticket from
their nearest Railway Station to the venue of the programme.
Dearness Allowance:
The teacher participants will be paid Dearness Allowance for attending the programme based on the
Vth Central pay Commission.
As the CCRT will be providing free lodging and boarding facilities mandatorily to all the participants,
hence they will be given 25% of the rate of entitled Dearness Allowance.
