District 3 - Project Scoping & Estimates Process
Topic Description
FDOT D3 utilizes a rigorous and highly selective concept process for all of its candidate resurfacing projects. The concept process
is D3's chosen method for controlling the type and amount of work to be included in each particular contract. Intergral to the
concept process is the LRE. Multiple versions of each project are generated in an effort to provide D3 Work Program Office with
the information needed to make informed decisions.
