Product Brief BTM 7750G Trilith IC
Product Brief BTM 7750G Trilith IC T H E B T M 7 7 5 0 G is part of the Trilith IC family containing three dies in Features one package: One double high-side switch and two low-side switches. The drains ■ Quad D-MOS switch driver of these three vertical DMOS chips are mounted on separated lead frames. ■ Free configurable as bridge or quad-switch The sources are connected to individual pins, so the BTM 7750G can be used in BDTIC H-bridge- as well as in any other configuration. Both the double high-side and ■ technology which combines low RDSon vertical DMOS power stages with CMOS Optimized for DC motor management applications the two low-side switches of the BTM 7750G are manufactured in SMART SIPMOS® ■ Low RDSon High side: 70 mΩ typ. @ 25°C, circuitry for control, protection and diagnosis. 180 mΩ max. @ 150°C Low side: 45 mΩ typ. @ 25°C, 105 mΩ max. @ 150°C Product Summary Type Package Marking BTM 7750G PG-DSO-28-22 BTM 7750G ■ Maximum peak current: typ. 12 A @ 25°C ■ Very low quiescent current: typ. 5 µA @ 25°C ■ Applications Small outline, enhanced power PG-DSO-package ■ Door lock ■ Operates up to 40 V ■ Fuel flap lock ■ PWM frequencies up to 1 kHz ■ Mirror flap ■ Status flag diagnosis ■ Steering wheel lock ■ Short-circuit-protection ■ Headrest adjustment ■ Overtemperature shut down with ■ Various industry applications hysteresis ■ Internal clamp diodes ■ Under-voltage detection with hysteresis ■ Green product (RoHS compliant) ■ AEC qualified www.infineon.com/trilithic Automotive Power www.BDTIC.com/infineon Product Brief Block Diagram ST DHVS 5, 10, 19, 24 8 Diagnosis IH1 7 Biasing and Protection Gate Driver R02 R01 IH2 9 20, 21 12, 14, 15, 18 Gate Driver 22, 23 GND 6 1, 3, 25, 28 Protection IL1 2 SH2 DL2 SH1 DL1 Gate Driver Protection IL2 13 Gate Driver 26, 27 SL1 16, 17 SL2 BDTIC Application Example TLE 4278G Watchdog Reset VS = 12 V I Q D + CQ 22 µF RQ 100 kΩ WD R VCC RS Diagnosis 7 IH1 Biasing and Protection Gate Driver R01 9 IH2 R02 SH1 22, 23 M DL1 1, 3, 25, 28 Protection 2 IL1 SH2 20, 21 DL2 12, 14, 15, 18 Gate Driver 6 GND µP CS 10 µF 5, 10, 19, 24 DHVS 8 ST 10 kΩ + D01 Z39 CD 47 nF Gate Driver Protection 13 IL2 Gate Driver SL1 26, 27 GND SL2 16, 17 In case of VDSL < -0.6 V or reverse battery the current into the µC might be limited by external resistors to protect the µC Legal Disclaimer The information given in this Product Brief shall in no event be regarded as a guarantee of conditions or characteristics.
