Anna Caffarena Education: International Baccalaureate, Lester B. Position: since 2006 Associate Professor of International Relations, Università di Torino. From 2000 to 2006, Associate Professor of Political Science and International Relations, Università di Teramo. From 1996 to 2000, lecturer in International Relations at the Italian Army School (Scuola d’Applicazione, Turin). Is in charge of the internationalization activities of the Facoltà di Scienze Politiche, University of Turin, deputy-chair of the Dipartimento di Culture, Politica e Società, coordinates the Global studies programme of the master course in Scienze internazionali. She is part of the Phd school - Scuola di Dottorato in Scienze Umane e Sociali and of the Steering coommittee of the Scuola Universitaria Interfacoltà in Scienze Strategiche. Honorary Fellow at Exeter University (UK), 1999-2000, was invited speaker at Scuola Superiore S. Anna di Pisa and Scuola Superiore dell’Università di Udine. Has been lecturing for masters and giving talks to a wider public on the topics covered by her research: international order, multilateralism, international organization, trust in international relations. Until 2010, member of the Steering Committee of the Italian Society of Political Science Società Italiana di Scienza Politica - SISP and of the Steering Committee of the Standing Group on International Relations of the European Consortium for Political Research - ECPR. She is founding member and President of T.wai, Torino World Affairs Institute. Was Local organizer of the Sixth Pan-European Conference of International Relations, Turin 12-15 September 2007 and member of the Organizing Committee of the Joint Sessions of Workshop of the European Consortium for Politica Research held in Turin, March 2002. She is part of the international research network coordinated by prof. Brigitte VassortRousset on «interstate couples», studying the impact of bilateral relations on world politics. Member of the Scientific Board of the journal «Teoria Politica». Editor of the journal «Biblioteca della Libertà» from 2005 to 2008.
