kaleidoscopic view is presented of useful
therapeutic products that were made even
better by using a variety of technologies. Most
were obvious; some, less so. But, even those
that were more apparent required hard work in
the development, testing, regulatory, and
manufacturing steps to create commercially
viable products that eventually became part of
the therapeutic armamentarium to the benefit
of large numbers of patients in many parts of
the world.
