Il controsoffitto ALFA PARALLEL di
PROMETAL®

una facile ispezione dell’intercapedine
tramite lo spostamento dei pannelli
che sono semplicemente appoggiati

le doghe tipo HS, SF o APP prodotte

Opportunamente intestate, le doghe
possono essere una valida alternativa

PROMETAL® is held in high regard for
its constructional simplicity, versatility

The open-view structure, normally
installed as a module with the fittings,
can become the natural basis for
possible partition walls dividing the
overall setting.
The standard version is in 0.8 mm thick
steel; this system ensures easy inspection of the air gap by moving the
panels that are simply affixed to the
load-bearing beams.
The versatility of the system also
allows the use - in place of the
panels - of HS, SF or APP strips
manufactured by PROMETAL®.
With suitable end closing, strips can
be a valid alternative to normal box
panels.

Il sistema è costituito da una struttura
portante a vista, composta da travette,
con sezione a “C”, disposte parallelamente e pannelli di forma rettangolare
(fig.1), che possono essere lisci o
forati, appoggiati alle travette.
Le travette sono fissate alle strutture
orizzontali esistenti attraverso particolari staffe ad incastro e barre asolate
con cui si ottiene una perfetta planarità
e orizzontalità del soffitto.
(fig.2 e 3)
I pannelli hanno, sui lati corti, i bordi
risvoltati verso l’esterno per un facile
appoggio alle travette e sui lati lunghi i
bordi risvoltati verso l’interno per un
perfetto accostamento fra loro.
E’ previsto anche l’utilizzo di pannelli
con una speciale sezione che permette
l’inserimento di una lastra di
cartongesso come isolante acustico
orizzontale. (fig.3)
Le doghe utilizzate sono del tipo
SPIGOLATE con innestatura tipo “C”
le cui caratteristiche sono ampiamente trattate nel catalogo DOGHE a cui si
rimanda.

These runners are secured to the
existing horizontal structures by special click-fit brackets and slotted bars
to ensure perfectly flat and horizontal

The edges on the short sides of the
panels face outwards for easy
mounting on the runners; the edges on
the long sides face inwards for perfect
matching.
Panels are also available with a special
cross-section for the insertion of
plasterboard as an insulating material.

with end closing "C-type";

The system consists of a load-bearing,
exposed structure made up of runners
installed in parallel and rectangular
panels, that can be plain or perforated,
connected to the runners. (fig.1)
These runners are secured to the
existing horizontal structures by
brackets and slotted bars to ensure a
perfectly flat and horizontal ceiling
installation. (figs.4 & 5)
Fast and safe release of the panels is
achieved, on the one hand, thanks
to special bayonets that allow downwards rotation and, on the other by
wire springs (fig.2) or 4 spring latches.

Il sistema è costituito da una struttura

SOUNDTEX® preadesivizzato e collato a
caldo sul retro e/o eventuale materassino
termo-isolante.
Perforated panels can be supplied with non
woven fabric certified SOUNDTEX® sealed
by hot gluing on the back of panels and/or
mineral wool.
Sospensione tramite staffe sagomate fissate
alle travette con bulloni, in acciaio di spess.
2 mm complete di barra asolata nervata e
staffetta per un ribassamento fino a 1000
mm. Il tutto fornito non assemblato.
Suspension through shaped brackets
secured to the runners by bolts, in steel
thickness 2 mm complete with slotted, ribbed
bar and bracket for lowering up to 1000 mm.
All components are supplied unassembled.
Sul perimetro, il controsoffitto sarà rifinito con
opportuno profilo in acciaio zincato 0.8 mm e
colore armonizzato con i pannelli del tipo:

The office area saw installation of
ALFA PARALLEL using perforated
panels (30%) that, in combination with
SOUNDTEX® certified non-woven
tissue and padding in polyester wool,
ensure excellent sound-proofing.
Nelle zone uffici è stato installato ALFA
PARALLEL utilizzando pannelli forati
con percentuale 30% che, in
abbinamento al tessuto non tessuto
certificato
SOUNDTEX®
e
ad
un materassino di fibra poliestere,
garantiscono una eccellente
fonoassorbenza.
Nelle zone in cui si concentra la
maggior parte degli impianti tecnologici,
come i corridoi, è stato utilizzato invece
ALFA PARALLEL OPENING che con
gli speciali pannelli apribili a botola
permette una rapida e sicura ispezione
dell’intercapedine.
In the areas where most technological
plants is installed, such as corridors,
on the other hand, ALFA PARALLEL
OPENING was used, that - thanks to
special hatch opening panels - allow
rapid and safe inspection of the cavity.

EDIFICIO 3 MEDIAPOLIS, SESTO SAN GIOVANNI (MI)
The project was characterised by the
presence of cold beams that regulate
internal climatisation.
The extreme versatility of ALFA
PARALLEL and ALFA CROSS made it
possible to integrate this particular
open-view climatisation system with
the false ceiling.
The surface of the perimeter panels
was peforated (50%) to allow recovery
of the air issued into the environment
by the cold beams.
L’intervento è caratterizzato dalla
presenza di travi fredde che regolano
la climatizzazione interna.
L’estrema versatilità di ALFA PARALLEL
e ALFA CROSS ha permesso di
integrare questo particolare sistema di
climatizzazione a vista con il
controsoffitto.
La superficie dei pannelli perimetrali è
stata forata con percentuale 50% per
permettere il recupero dell’aria immessa
nell’ambiente dalle travi fredde.

integrated conditioning and electrical
plant.
The square network structure allowed
suspension of large panels (1200 x
1200 mm) at the same time as their
opening downwards by means of a
system of hinges and torsion springs.
Controsoffitto CROSS OPENING con
impianti di condizionamento ed
elettrici integrati.
La struttura a maglia quadrata
permette la sospensione di pannelli di
grandi dimensioni 1200 x 1200 mm
consentendo, al contempo, la loro
apertura verso il basso mediante un
sistema di cerniere e molle a torsione.
Le fasce laterali sono eseguite in
modo da creare uno spazio per
l’alloggiamento dei corpi luce e delle
bocchette di mandata per il
condizionamento.
The lateral bands were developed in
order to create a space to house the
lighting systems and conditioning delivery outlets.

An interesting, alternative solution to
the classic ALFA PARALLEL.
This project - where minimising costs
was very important - the box panels
were replaced by SF 300 type strips
specifically headed to rest on the
load-bearing runners in pre-painted
aluminium.
The versatility of the ALFA system
once again made it possible to
integrate cold beam climatisation plant
with the false ceiling.
Interessante soluzione alternativa al
classico ALFA PARALLEL.
In questo intervento, in cui era di
primaria importanza ridurre al minimo i
costi, i pannelli scatolari sono stati
sostituiti da doghe tipo SF 300 intestate
appositamente per andare in appoggio alle travette portanti, in alluminio
preverniciato.
La versatilità del sistema ALFA ha
permesso, anche in questo caso, di
integrare l’impianto di climatizzazione
a travi fredde con il controsoffitto.
L’impianto di illuminazione è stato
realizzato con plafoniere particolari
sospese alle travette di sostegno del
controsoffitto.

NUOVO MOLO INTERNAZIONALE AEROPORTO LEONARDO
DA VINCI, ROMA
The requirements developed by the
designers to integrate the conditioning
plant, maintain the pitch of the ceiling
lighting systems and be able to inspect
the cavity were met using a variant of
the ALFA CROSS false ceiling.
The square network structure
(1800 x 1800 mm) was doubled with a
secondary load-bearing structure.
The grid thereby created supported 4
peforated panels (800 x 800 mm)
opening downwards thanks to the use
of torsion springs.
The lighting systems were mounted
in the runners, while the components
of the conditioning plant were fitted in
the panels.
The offset parts between the ALFA
CROSS false ceiling "islands" were
completed with S35 type strips.
Le esigenze espresse da parte dei
progettisti di integrare l’impianto di
condizionamento, di rispettare il passo
delle plafoniere per l’illuminazione e di
rendere l’intercapedine ispezionabile
sono state soddisfatte utilizzando una
variante del soffitto ALFA CROSS.
La struttura a maglia quadrata di dim.
1800 x 1800 mm è stata raddoppiata
con una struttura portante secondaria.
La griglia che si è ottenuta ha permesso
di sostenere 4 pannelli forati di dim.
800 x 800 mm apribili verso il basso
grazie all’uso di molle a torsione.
I corpi luce sono stati inseriti nei
travetti mentre i componenti l’impianto
di condizionamento nei pannelli.
Nelle parti di compensazione tra le
“isole” di controsoffitto ALFA CROSS
sono state utilizzate doghe tipo S35.

AMPLIAMENTO PALAZZINA UFFICI L’OREAL, MILANO
The need to follow the compositional
lines dictated by the holes and the
internal division characterised by the
corridor running all along the building
on its longitudinal axis saw the choice
fall on ALFA PARALLEL.
La necessità di seguire le linee
compositive dettate dalle forature e la
divisione interna caratterizzata dal
corridoio che percorre tutto l’edificio
lungo il suo asse longitudinale ha fatto
cadere la scelta su ALFA PARALLEL.
Proprio la versatilità di questo sistema
ha permesso di rispettare la partizione
esistente e nel contempo di dare
ordine a tutti gli ambienti fossero essi
dedicati a laboratori o a uffici “open
space”.
The versatility of this system meant
that the existing partition could be
retained and, at the same time, ensure
orderly layout in all premises, be they
workshops or “open space” offices.

Ospedale di rilevo nazionale e di alta specializzazione per la
riabilitazione neuromotoria, ROMA
L’intervento è stato realizzato sia
all’interno che all’esterno dell’edificio.
All’interno siamo intervenuti utilizzando
un controsoffitto ALFA CROSS
standard con dimensioni delle travette
portanti maggiorate per permettere
l’alloggiamento di plafoniere fuori
standard.
Per il portico esterno abbiamo progettato
un controsoffitto ALFA CROSS con
struttura a passo variabile e pannelli
dotati di dispositivo anti-sganciamento
per evidenti esigenze di sicurezza.
This project involved both the interior
and the exterior of the building.
For the interior we used a standard
ALFA CROSS false ceiling with
over-sized load-bearing runners in
order to house the non-standard
ceiling lightings.
The design of the external "portico"
was based on an ALFA CROSS false
ceiling with a variable-pitch structure
and panels fitted with an anti-release
device for evident safety requirements.
