VELERIA SAN GIORGIO has been in business since 1926 and is a
leader in Italy and amongst the most important producers in
Europe of nautical products and safety equipments for pleasure,
military, merchant and sporting vessels. Our objective has always
been quality, because for us quality goes hand in hand with safety.
For this reason, we were the first to obtain the ISO 9001, Quality
Certificate for the design, production, sales and marketing of our
products. This way of thinking has led us to continually invest in
new technology and resources to produce ergonomic and sports

Italiana Vela) è stata la fornitrice ufficiale dei giubbotti di salvataggio della squadra nazionale che ha partecipato alle Olimpiadi di
Atene 2004.
Dalla attiva collaborazione tra i nostri tecnici e tutti gli atleti sono
nati due modelli di aiuto al galleggiamento dalle caratteristiche
particolari, appositamente creati per l'utilizzo nelle varie categorie di regata (Modello FIRST e FIV).

COSTUME GALLEGGIANTE NEONATI
Sino a ieri, le normative in vigore per giubbotti di salvataggio e aiuti al
galleggiamento non prevedevano la possibilità di realizzare articoli specifici per neonati. Oggi la normativa europea EN 13138 permette finalmente la certificazione di prodotti - “buoyancy aid for swimming instruction” - specificatamente progettati per aiutare il bimbo a imparare a nuotare e a stare in acqua, in totale sicurezza, con la costante sorveglianza
di un adulto.
Sono nati così i nuovi Costumi Galleggianti della VELERIA SAN GIORGIO: modelli Coccinella e Tartaruga, rispettivamente per bimbe e bimbi.
Entrambi sono realizzati in due taglie: dagli 8 ai 12 kg e dai 12 ai 16 kg,
confezionati con ampia gamma di colori e disegni.
FLOATING COSTUMES (Buoyancy)
Until recently, the regulations for lifejackets and buoyancy aids, did not
include any special facilities for babies.
Finally, the European Law EN 13138 has allowed the certification of
“buoyancy aids for swimming instruction” - specially designed to help
children to learn to swim and stay in the water, with constant adult
supervision.
This is the reason for the creation of the new Floating Costumes designs
by VELERIA SAN GIORGIO: the Ladybird range for girls and the Tortoise
range for boys.
They come in two sizes: from 8 to 12 kg and 12 to 16 kg in a wide range
of colours and designs.
MAILLOT FLOTTANT POUR BÉBÉS
Jusqu’à hier, la réglementation en vigueur pour les gilets de sauvetage
et les supports à la flottaison n’avait pas prévu pouvoir réaliser des
articles spécifiques pour bébés. Aujourd’hui la réglementation européenne EN 13138 permet enfin la certification de produits - "buoyancy aid
for swimming instruction" - projetés spécifiquement pour aider un
enfant d’à peu près trois ans à apprendre à nager et à se tenir dans l’eau,
en toute sécurité, sous la surveillance constante d’un adulte.
C’est ainsi que VELERIA SAN GIORGIO a conçu les nouveaux Maillots
Flottants, dans les modèles “Coccinella” (Coccinelle) et “Tartaruga”
(Tortue), respectivement, pour fillettes et petits garçons.
Ces deux modèles sont réalisés en deux tailles: 8 à 12 kg et 12 à 16 kg,
confectionnés dans une vaste gamme de couleurs et de dessins.

BODY-GUARD
Nuovo salvagente a forma di ferro di cavallo, grande novità, in
quanto per la prima volta un salvagente di questa forma viene
proposto in materiale plastico rigido. È inoltre dotato di maniglie,
anch'esse rigide, che ne facilitano il lancio e ne fanno un sicuro
appiglio per il pericolante. E'conforme al Decreto del Ministero
dei Trasporti e della Navigazione N. 385 del 28/09/99 e approvato dal Bureau Veritas per la Marine Marchande Française, e su
tutte le imbarcazioni da diporto italiane.
UTILIZZO
Body Guard è un accessorio per la sicurezza a bordo, ma può
anche essere utilizzato da chi nuota in piscina o in mare, sia per
l'insegnamento che per il salvataggio.
