Lampada di emergenza SA con sorgente luminosa a LED
SUSTAINED emergency lamp with LED light source
Si ricorda che nell’esecuzione SE, Solo Emergenza, la lampada si accende
solo al mancare della rete, cioè quasi mai, mentre nell’emergenza SA la
sorgente luminosa è permanentemente accesa, alimentata dalla rete e,
quando questa viene a mancare, sostenuta dalla batteria. I LED trovano
vantaggio in questa applicazione essendo caratterizzati da durata di vita
pari a 50.000 ore contro le 8.000 del tubo fluorescente e in un esercizio
aperto 365 giorni all’anno, per 24 ore al giorno (aeroporti e stazioni),
consentono la sostituzione della sorgente ogni 6 anni, contro l’anno
scarso della soluzione tradizionale con le fluorescenti. É noto, i costi di
sostituzione sono importanti se si considera la squadra che effettua il
cambio con trabatello, in ore di minor traffico, straordinario ecc.
Remember that in the SE version, Emergency Only, the lamp only switches
on when there is a power cut, i.e. almost never, while in the SA emergency
the light source is on permanently. It is powered by the network and sustained by a battery when there is a power cut. The LEDs are advantageous
in this application as they are characterised by a life span equal to 50.000
hours against the 8.000 hours of the fluorescent tube and in a version that
is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day (airports and stations). They allow
the source to be replaced every 6 years, against about just 1 year of the
traditional solution using fluorescents. Note that replacement costs are
important, consider the team making the change using builder’s stage,
when there is less traffic, overtime etc.

Nelle applicazioni SE i vantaggi del LED, rispetto la tradizionale
sorgente luminosa di tipo fluorescente sono:
• Resa maggiore, a pari efficienza luminosa, poichè tutta la luce è
convogliata verso la superficie da illuminare, mentre nel tubo
fluorescente una parte significativa viene riflessa dalla parabola e quindi
presenta delle perdite;
• Accensione senza ritardo;
• Non si prevede di dovere sostituire la sorgente luminosa.... infatti la
vita media di un Led è di 40.000 ore mentre in emergenza la lampada
potrà funzionare al massimo per 300 ore. In questa applicazione NON
sono state pertanto previste, come nel caso delle SA, sorgenti luminose
di ricambio come accessori.
In SE applications, the advantages provided by LEDs with respect
to traditional fluorescent light sources are:
• Higher yield given the same luminous efficiency, since all the light is
conveyed towards the area to be lit, whilst in the fluorescent tube a
considerable amount of light passes through the parabolic reflector,
thereby causing losses;
• Switch-on without delay;
• The replacement of the light source is not provided for; in fact, the mean
lifespan of a LED is 40,000 hours, while, in emergency mode, the lamp
can work for maximum 300 hours. Therefore, this application, as the
SA range, does NOT include spare light sources as accessories
