JEREMY GUARNONI 11esimo, CHRISTOPHE PONSSON sotto alla bandiera a scacchi della gara di Imola.
Entrambi alle prese con una piccola noia tecnica durante la giornata di qualifica che li ha obbligati a lungo nel box durante le prove
e li ha limitati nel giro veloce, i piloti supportati ufficialmente dalla KAWASAKI Europa hanno dovuto scalare la classifica di gara
partendo dalle retrovie della griglia di partenza. Rispettivamente 21esimo e 23esimo al via, i due piloti francesi hanno impegnato
tutti i 14 giri di gara previsti per risalire la classifica e conquistare punti preziosi.
Attualmente 6. In campionato con 25 punti, GUARNONI rimanda l’obiettivo di riconquistare le prime caselle della “Championship
Standings”, mentre il compagno PONSSON pensa già a come essere competitivo in vista dell’allineamento di Donington.
JEREMY GUARNONI #11, 11esimo in gara: “Un piccolo problema di pertinenza elettrica mi ha trattenuto troppo tempo nel box e
quando sono uscito in pista per registrare il crono veloce, c’era troppo “traffico” per poterlo realizzare. Questo 11esimo
piazzamento mi fa slittare verso il basso della classifica di campionato ma la stagione è ancora lunga. In Inghilterra punterò al
podio”.
CHRISTOPHE PONSSON #23, 16esimo in gara: “ Ho dato il massimo per guadagnare posizioni e alla fine mi trovo escluso dalla
zona punti per pochissimo. Voglio essere positivo e pensare già alla prossima gara dove l’obiettivo sarà quello di essere
consistenti sin dal primo giorno di prova. Trovare l’assetto giusto e partire dalle prime linee dovrà essere la prima strategia
agonistica per il we…”.

JEREMY GUARNONI 11th, CHRISTOPHE PONSON 16th in the final standing of SUPERSTOCK race at Imola.
Both struggling with small technical problems during the qualifying , Jeremy and Cristophe were forced to stay inside the pit
garage and had very short time to ride and try to find a fast lap for a good position on the grid. Both started from the back of the
grid and the two riders who have the official support of KAWASAKI Europe, had to struggle to climb the ranking of the race.
Respectively 21th and 23rd at the start, the two French riders moved up the standings lap by lap during the 14-lap race today and
earn valuable points.
Currently 6th in the provisional Championship standings, Guarnoni counts on Donington to re-gain a position inside the top group
fighting for the title, his teammate Ponsson will be for sure more competitive for the next British round.
JEREMY GUARNONI # 11, 11TH IN THE RACE: "A small electrical problem kept me too long in the pits, and when I went out on track
to find a good lap time, I found too much traffic. This 11th place makes me a little go down in the current standings but the
championship is still long. In England I will run for the podium."
CHRISTOPHE PONSSON # 23, 16th in the race: "I gave my best to gain positions and missed the points for only one. I want to be
positive and think about the next race where the goal is to be consistent from the first day of practice. I will have to find the right
set-up to start from a better spot on the grid, this is the strategy for Donington.”
