Nato a Roma, Fabio Bistoncini ha frequentato il liceo classico Ennio
Quirino Visconti, laureato in Giurisprudenza presso l’Università “Luiss
Guido Carli” di Roma.
Ha frequentato il Corso di Studi Superiori Legislativi organizzato dalla
Scuola di Scienza e Tecnica della Legislazione dell’I.S.L.E., Istituto per
la documentazione e gli studi legislativi, conseguendone il relativo
diploma.
Inizia a lavorare (1991) nel settore del Public Affairs e Lobbying in SCR Associati, società
leader in Italia nel settore delle Relazioni Pubbliche. In seguito diventa responsabile delle
Relazioni Istituzionali per tutti i clienti delle agenzie del gruppo Shandwick in Italia.
Nel 1996 ha fondato la FB&Associati, una delle più importanti società di advocacy e
lobbying, di cui attualmente è Amministratore Delegato.
È autore di numerosi articoli e saggi sull’attività di lobbying. Di recente ha scritto un
libro, Venti anni da “sporco” lobbista, pubblicato da Guerini Associati nel settembre 2011.
Docente in Master e Corsi di Formazione, ha collaborato con il Dipartimento di Economia
aziendale dell’Università degli Studi di Pisa e con la Facoltà di Scienze Politiche
dell’Università di Milano.
È stato docente a contratto di Teorie e Tecniche delle Relazioni Pubbliche delle
Organizzazioni Internazionali presso l’Università di Gorizia.
Dal 2003 al 2007 Vice Presidente FERPI (Federazione delle Relazioni Pubbliche Italiana).
Dal 2007 al 2013 ha gestito la delega alle relazioni istituzionali.
Socio SISP (Società Italiana di Scienze Politiche), partecipa attivamente ai lavori dello
Standing Group sui gruppi d’interesse, coordinato dal Professor Liborio Mattina.
Born in Rome, Fabio Bistoncini attended the high-school “Liceo Classico Ennio Quirino
Visconti” and graduated in Law from University “Luiss Guido Carli” of Rome.
He also attended the Course of Higher Legislative Studies organized by the School of
Science and Technique of Legislation of I.S.L.E (Institute for Documentation and
Legislative Studies), obtaining the relevant diploma.
His career in Public Affairs and Lobbying started in 1991 with SCR Associati, an Italian
leading firm in the sector of Public Relations.
Later on, he became Head of the Institutional Affairs department for all the clients of the
agencies of the Shandwick group in Italy.
In 1996 he founded FB & Associati, a major advocacy and lobbying firm in Italy. He is the
current Managing Director of FB.
He is the author of many articles and essays on lobbying activities.
His book “Vent’anni da sporco lobbista” (Twenty years as a dirty lobbyist) has been
recently published by Guerini Associati (September 2011).
Lecturer at Masters and Training courses, he collaborated with the Department of
Economics of the University of Pisa and with the faculty of Political Sciences of the
University of Milan.
He was a fixed-term lecturer of “Theory and Practice of Public Relations in International
Organizations” at University of Gorizia.
He served as deputy President of FERPI (Italian Federation of Public Relations) between
2003 and 2007.
Between 2007 and 2013 he was also responsible for the institutional relations within the
Federation.
A SISP member (Italian Society of Political Sciences), he is actively involved in the works
of the Standing Group on stakeholders coordinated by Professor Liborio Mattina.
