PROGRAMME SCHEDULE FOR THE COMENIUS MEETING IN LEON
SPAIN 2-6 MARCH 2009.
Monday 2nd.
9.00.-Meeting at LEGIO VII high school. Introduction of the teachers and students. Group dynamics.
10.00.-Some guidelines for the meeting in Leon.
Presentation of the tasks planned and designed in Italy (I)
11.30.-Coffee break.
12.00.- Students start the presentation of the different characteristics of topics or aspects from their own countries.(I)
Tuesday 3rd.
9.00.-Geographic, productive and climatic characteristics of the area to be studied. (II)
11.30.- Coffee break.
12.30.-Reception at the Town Hall.
17.00.-Conference on air pollution in the city of León by D. Arsenio Terrón Alfonso, Professor of the University of Leon. A very
experienced and expert teacher and researcher of environmental issues. Head of Department.
Wednesday 4th
9.00 Visit and excursion to The Medulas in El Bierzo. An ancient gold mine from the Roman period. A case study.
Thursday 5th
9.00.- Students continue on the presentation of the different characteristics of topics or aspects from their own countries. (II)
10.00.- Planning and designing next meeting in Turkey. Future plans.
11.00.-Coffee break.
11.30.- Guided visit of Leon. Historical and monumental sightseeing.
Friday 6th
Conclusions.
Evaluation and feedback.
