OBJECTIVE’
promotion of employment activation of
the disabled through services of
assistance and of oriented employment
finding
Target people
1. Persons of working age with physical ,
psychological or sensorial disabilities
and with intellectual handicap with a
reduction of working capacity greater
than 45%
2. Invalidity of work greater than 33%
3. Visually impaired and deaf mute
4. War and duty invalids
OBLIGATORY RECRUITMENT
RESERVE QUOTA
• Public or private authorities must hire workers
belonging to protected categories in
proportion to:
• Seven percent of the workers if there are
more than 50 employees
• Two disabled workers if the company has a
number of employees going from 36 to 49
• One disabled worker if the number of
employees goes from 15 to 35

Regional Law n 16 of August 2001 setting up the Labour
Integration Services in the ULSS (Local Social and Health
Units)Objective: -Promotion and support of the labour
integration of the disabled and social
excluded persons;
-efficient links between labour services and
social and health services.

Planning single labour market patterns to meet supply and
demand;
Follow-up of experiences: collaboration between the
enterprises and the institutions, the training sector, the social
cooperatives, the volunteer sector and family associations;

ORGANISATION ASPECTS OF THE Labour Integration Services
The Labour Integration Services (SIL) are operational units
belonging to the Local Social and Health Units connected to
the other departments, to the General Practitioners and to all
authorities linked with employment integration .
The Veneto Region is divided in 21 Local Social and Health
Units and 56 Social and Health Districts, the SIL are above the
Districts.
Institution of a coordination of the Labour Integration Service
which is part of Regional direction of Social Services within the
Unit for disabilities.

The coordination of the Labour Integration Services
Tasks:
-evaluation of the data about the interventions of the SIL in
connection with the regional observatory on the elderly and
disability, dissemination of information in order to provide an
homogeneity in the interventions on the territory
-development of regional, interregional, national or ESF
projects to disseminate good practices on employment
integration of persons with disabilities or socially excluded
-links with other departments of the Regional Direction of
Social Services
-support in administrative procedures and agreements
between the SIL, the ULSS and private or public authorities
dealing with employment integration.
