The chart below shows all forms of the direct-object pronouns: mi and
ti in the singular, and ci and vi in the plural, as well as the third-person
forms which you have already learned.

• Direct-object pronouns are always placed directly in front of a conjugated verb.
Ex. Ci accompagni al veglione? (Will you accompany us to the party?)
Si, vi accompagno volentieri. (Yes, I will be happy to accompany you.)
• When lo, la, li, and le are used with the passato prossimo, the past participle
agrees in the number and gender with the pronoun. With mi, ti, ci, and vi the
agreement is optional.
Ex. Giulia non li ha invitati alla sua festa! (Giulia did not invite them to the party!)
Suo padre ci ha accompagnato in macchina. (Her father drove us in his car)
• When direct-object pronouns are used with an infinitive, the final –e of the
infinitive is dropped and the pronoun is attached to the end of the verb.
Ex.
Penso di invitare i miei cugini per Natale

Penso di invitarli
I think that I will invite mu cousins for Christmas.  I think I will invite them.
