Design Distinction Recognition
Note: This class was created to highlight those Ferraris that were re-bodied in- period by some
of the most famous coachbuilders of the day – Fantuzzi, Drogo, Michelotti, etc. The criteria here
was purely aesthetic – what was the designer trying to achieve and as he successful. At the time,
the object was to see what creativity could be inspired based on a current Ferrari chassis and running gear. These cars have achieved a life of their own (like the Breadvan) and have been restored
to in - period perfection.
