FPE nasce nel 1967 dall’idea di Carlo Alberto Ferrari che a Milano inizia
l’attività di stampa serigrafica, cartellonistica ed allestimento eventi. In quasi
mezzo secolo di storia l’Azienda si è trasformata diventando un esempio di
Imprenditoria Italiana. Per dare risposte rapide e precise alla propria Clientela
alla stampa serigrafica si sono aggiunte la gestione logistica e la gestione
amministrativa. Negli anni l’Azienda è cresciuta ed evoluta e sotto la guida di
Andrea e Paolo Carlo Ferrari ha iniziato la trasformazione della produzione
da serigrafica a digitale.
Oggi FPE si accinge a festeggiare i suoi “primi 50 anni” di attività potendo
offrire un servizio realmente a 360° a tutti gli operatori della comunicazione
e, cosa ancora più importante, è pronta a per altri “50 anni” di sfide e
innovazione.
FPE was founded in Milan in 1967 based on the idea of Carlo Alberto Ferrari
who initiated the business of screen-printing, signage and fitting of events. In
nearly half a century of history the company has turned into an example of
Italian entrepreneurship. In order to provide quick and precise responses to
the clients’ needs further divisions – these are logistics and administrative
management – were added to the screen-printing. In the course of years the
company has grown and evolved and under the direction of Andrea Ferrari
and Paolo Carlo Ferrari has started its process of transformation from
screen-print to digital production.
FPE is now preparing to celebrate its “first 50 years” of business activity
capable of offering a real 360-degree service to all players in the communications industry, and more importantly, it is ready for another “50 years” of
challenges and innovations.

La mission di FPE è la piena soddisfazione del Cliente. Le dinamiche di mercato

presentazione di nuove tecniche di stampa e decorazione ci hanno portato a
creare un team di persone che, in costante aggiornamento tecnico, offrono alla
nostra Clientela un servizio di consulenza. È un lavoro “sartoriale”, che parte
dalla volontà di poter offrire tutte le reali e possibili soluzioni durante tutte le fasi
della commessa. Il nostro personale si affianca al Cliente e, potendo mettere a
disposizione tutte le conoscenze e le esperienze, fornisce un ventaglio di possibili
soluzioni e servizi. Siamo una Azienda a fortissimo contenuto tecnologico-industriale. Ogni anno facciamo nuovi investimenti in tecnologia e formazione, al fine
di poter offrire la migliore qualità e servizio. La nostra storia ci ha insegnato che
il nostro lavoro, qualsiasi esso sia, per quanto lo si possa affrontare con tecnologie all’avanguardia ha sempre una componente “artigianale” di cura, attenzione e

We put this “artisan” attention, attention to detail and the constant monitoring,
first in our industrial process.This allowed us to obtain the UNI EN ISO
9001-2000 quality certificate and enabled us to exceed the strict quality and
process standards certified by the SGQ certificate.
Il reparto di Stampa Grande Formato si sviluppa su una superfice di oltre 500
metri quadrati. Per offrire qualità di stampa su tutti i supporti e garantire
tempestività nella produzione, abbiamo installato un parco macchine
numeroso e performante che annovera stampanti sia UV che Solvente.
Un magazzino di materie prime, sempre ben fornito e pronto a supportare la
produzione in qualsiasi momento, garantisce la tempestività di reazione del
reparto. Dal telo PVC monofacciale o bifacciale, dal tessuto alla moquette,
dal telo retroilluminato alla tela pittorica fino alla rete PVC… semplicemente
stampiamo tutto, dappertutto. Tutto qui.
The large-format printing compartment covers an area of more than 500
square meters. To provide print quality on any medium and to guarantee
timeliness in the production, we installed a machinery, rich in number and
highly productive, which includes both UV and solvent printers. A warehouse
of raw materials, always well stocked and ready to support the production at
any time, ensures the departments’ timeliness of reaction. From the one-sided or double-sided PVC sheet, from the textile fabric to the carpet, from
the backlit screen to the pictorial canvas to the PVC net… we print just
anything, onto anything. Everything here, in-house.

Nel reparto di Stampa Piccolo Formato si eseguono produzioni di qualità.
La scelta delle tecnologie di stampa è stata guidata dalla necessità di stampare
su tutti i supporti garantendo qualità, controllo del colore e velocità di
risposta. Sono presenti macchine da stampa numerose e con diverse
tecnologie di stampa. Dalla base acqua all’eco-solvente, dal getto di cera al
solvente fino all’innovativo sistema di stampa con inchiostri UV-solvente che
garantiscono una resistenza delle stampe a tutti i solventi. Stampiamo adesivi
di tutti i tipi per qualsiasi applicazione e con qualsiasi finitura, tele pittoriche,
pelle ed eco-pelle, pellicole back-light, teli in PVC e qualsiasi altro tipo di
materiale per decorazione sia Indoor che Out-Door.

In the compartment of small-format printing high quality productions are
being realized. The choice of printing technologies in place was driven by the
need to print on any medium whilst ensuring quality, color control and
promptness in terms of response times. There are many printing machines
with different print technologies in place. From water based to eco-solvent,
from solvent-based wax jet through to the innovative printing system with
solvent-based inks that guarantee resistance to all solvents. We print stickers
of all types for each and any application and with any finishing, pictorial
canvases, leather and imitation leather, backlight films, sheets in PVC and any
other type of material for decorative purposes both indoor and outdoor.
La stampa tessile è da sempre per FPE un punto di forza e di continua
evoluzione. Stampiamo su tutti i tessuti base poliestere sia con tecnologia di
stampa diretta che transfert. Produciamo e confezioniamo tutti i tipi di
bandiere, striscioni in TNT, bandiere a goccia e a vela, stendardi , bandiere per
pennoni, gagliardetti e oggettistica in tessuto come grembiuli, porta abiti e
sacche. Alla stampa tessile abbiamo affiancato la nuovissima tecnologia di
“stampa sublimatica 3D” che ci permette di decorare qualsiasi oggetto con
una penetrazione del colore fino a 90 micron in profondità. Con questa
innovativa tecnica possiamo decorare oggetti in acciaio, alluminio, fibra di
vetro, ceramica, vetro, legno, carbonio, madre perla e moltissimi altri.

Textile printing has always been FPE’s strength and in continuous evolution.
We print on all polyester-based fabric with both direct and transfer printing
technologies. We produce and pack all kinds of flags, banners in nonwoven
fabric, beach flags, banners, flags for flagpoles, pennants and gift items such as
aprons, clothes hangers and bags. To the textile printing, we added the
brand-new technology of “sublimation 3D printing” which allows us to
decorate any object with a color penetration up to 90 micron in-depth. This
innovative technique enables us to decorate items in steel, aluminum,
fiberglass, ceramic, glass, timber, carbon, mother-of-pearl and many others.
Once more, we would like to underline that we print just anything, onto
anything. Everything here, in-house.

Negli ultimi anni la tecnologia di stampa diretta UV è diventata sempre più
qualitativa e tecnicamente performante. Prima l’introduzione del bianco, poi
l’innovazione degli inchiostri con durate sempre maggiori fino ad oggi con
l’arrivo di nuove teste di stampa che permettono di ottenere una qualità
veramente fotografica. FPE ha sempre fortemente creduto in questa tecnologia e ogni anno ha investito nella innovazione delle tecnologie, dei processi e
del personale. Oggi ci avvaliamo di un parco macchine composto da 5 unità di
stampa , sia piano fisso che mobile, con le quali possiamo realizzare stampe di
qualità fotografica,vetrofanie con riserva di bianco, pannelli vetrina, carta e
cartone con spessori massimi di 5 cm.

In the last few years, the direct UV printing technology has become increasingly of high quality and high technical efficiency. Starting off with the
introduction of white printing, followed by the improvement of the inks,
which are characterized by their ever-increasing durability and the arrival of
new print heads, which allow to obtain a real photographic quality. FPE has
always strongly believed in this technology with the result that the business
made yearly investments in the innovation of technologies, the work process
and the personnel. Today we are equipped with a machine park consisting of
five printing units including fixed worktables as well as mobile ones, which
enable us to realize photographic-quality printing, from window transparencies with white reserve, to window displays, to paper and cardboard with a
maximum thickness of 5cm.
La produzione di materiali sempre diversi sia per dimensioni che per utilizzo
ci ha imposto di creare un reparto attrezzato per qualsiasi tipo di produzione.
Tagliamo, fustelliamo, fresiamo e cordoniamo in digitale qualsiasi supporto, dal
tessuto al pannello in legno, dall’alluminio al forex, dalla carta al policarbonato,
dal cartone all’acciaio.
The production of always changing materials – be it due to their size or use –
called for action; FPE coped with this by creating a well-equipped department
for all types of production. We cut, die-cut, mill and groove digitally on any
medium, from textile fabric to wooden panels, from aluminum to forex, from
paper to polycarbonate, from cardboard to steel.

Il telo PVC stampato viene interamente gestito nella fase di finitura all’interno
di FPE. Due saldatrici e due annellatrici rendono il reparto operativo e pronto
alla gestione di grandi produzioni in tempisitiche brevi, garantendo la qualità
del prodotto finito. Il tessuto ed il confezionamento delle bandiere e dei teli
TNT viene realizzato in questo reparto. Macchine da cucire semi-automatiche
ci permettono di realizzare tutti i tipi di confezione.

The printed PVC sheet is completed in the in-house finishing process. The
departments’ operability is guaranteed by two heat sealers and two ring
markers, machines that make it possible to handle large-scale productions in
short timeframes, however ensuring the quality of the finished product. It is in
this department, where the fabric and the packing of the flags and sheets
made of nonwoven fabric are being realized. Semi-automatic sewing machines
allow us to create all types of packaging.
Nasciamo serigrafi e, nonostante i continui investimenti nella stampa digitale,
non ci siamo dimenticati del nostro passato.
Un attrezzato reparto di stampa serigrafica è ancora presente presso i nostri
stabilimenti dove realizzaziamo adesivi, pannelli e tutta una serie di “finiture”
particolari quali colori speciali o fluo.
Born as screen printers and despite of ongoing investments in digital printing,
we did not forget about our past.
That is why there is still a screen-printing department at our manufacturing
site, where we create stickers, panels and a range of special “finishes”, such as
those with special or fluorescent colors.

Oggi FPE conta su un network di 32 centri distributivi perifierici dislocati
sull’intero territorio nazionale. Ogni centro perifierico FPE prevede un
magazzino di almeno 300 mq ed un numero di furgoni sufficiente a gestire la
concentrazione di punti vendita presente nella zona di pertinenza.
Attualmente la flotta di mezzi a nostra disposizione supera le 350 unità.
I profili degli operatori, periodicamente impegnati in training di aggiornamento su tecniche e materiali di allestimento, è allinemato alle diverse tipologie di
punti vendita sui quali si troveranno ad operare.
Grazie ai Tablet di cui sono dotate tutte le nostre squadre di allestimento,
l’operatore riceve in tempo reale le “commissioni” che gli vengono affidate e
sempre in tempo reale, una volta ultimato il lavoro, questi trasmette il dato e
le immagini al nostro server centrale che aggiorna il portale di consultazione,
permettendo al nostro Cliente di seguire l’avanzamento lavori in ogni
momento.

Today FPE can rely on a network of 32 peripheral distribution centers spread
across the entire national territory. Each of FPE’s peripheral distribution
centers is provided with a warehouse of at least 300 square meters and a
sufficient number of trucks in order to manage the concentration of point of
sales in the area. Our fleet of vehicles currently counts more than 350 units.
The profiles of the operators, who are periodically undergoing update
trainings on techniques and installation materials, are aligned to the different
types of point of sales on which they have to operate. Thanks to the tablet
PC’s with which our installation teams are equipped, the operator receives
the “orders”, which he is trusted with in real time and further, all the same in
real time, once the work has been completed, he is able to transmit the
information and images to our central server, which subsequently updates the
platform of consultation, thus allowing our client to follow the progress of
work at any time. Furthermore, the tablet PC features the possibilities to take
photographs, to receive and send update messages, to manage geo-positioning
and identification systems such as the QR Code.
Anche nella gestione logistica ci siamo posti l’obiettivo di massima flessibilità
e operatività. Allo stabilimento di produzione di Trezzano sul Naviglio, si
affianca il magazzino centrale di Nerviano, nell’hinterland milanese che si
sviluppa su oltre 7.000 mq. A Garlasco, in provincia di Pavia, abbiamo aperto
un nuovo stabilimento per la finitura e la logistica del dopo stampa. Con i 32
magazzini periferici omogeneamente disposti sul territorio nazionale oggi FPE
raggiunge una superficie complessiva di oltre 25.000 mq interamente gestiti
con sistemi digitali e operativi sette giorni su sette e 24 ore.
In the logistics division as well, we set ourselves the goal of maximum
flexibility and operative readiness. In addition to the manufacturing site at
Trezzano sul Naviglio FPE runs its central warehouse of Nerviano, in the
hinterland of Milan which covers an area of more than 7.000 square meters.
Moreover, we established a new manufacturing site for finishing and post-production logistics in Garlasco, which is situated in the province of Pavia.
Through the 32 peripheral warehouses equally spread across the national
territory FPE reaches a total surface area of more than 25.000 square meters;
the operations are carried out in an entirely digital way, 24 hours and seven
days a week.

Operando sin dalla sua nascita nell’ambito della produzione e allestimento
pubblicitario, FPE non poteva prescindere dall’integrare il ventaglio dell’offerta
con la gestione amministrativa della pratiche necessarie alla esposizione dei
materiali pubblicitari.
Un team di esperti, coadiuvati da network di professionisti su territorio
nazionale, è in grado di gestire in tempi brevissimi tutte le fase del processo
amministrativo. Dalla richiesta delle autorizzazioni alla predisposizione dei
pagamenti ai diversi enti, dalla gestione degli accertamenti fino all’assistenza al
contenzioso.

As FPE performed business in the field of production and installation of
advertisement from the very beginning, it could not do without integrating
the range of services with the administrative management of the documents,
which are required for the exposition of the advertising material.
A team of experts, supported by a network of professionals on the national
territory, is able to handle all stages of the administrative process in very
short time periods. From the authorization requests to the pre-arrangements
for the payments that go to different authorities, from the management of the
investigations through to the assistance in litigations.
