1996 to present day (18 years)
Chairman and General Director of Agenfor Italia www.agenformedia.com
Head Office: Piazza Tre Martiri 43, 47900 Rimini-Italy
From 1999 until 2012 Chairman for Agenfor Italia and then Director of Agenfor Media, the leading Southern
Europe NGO that promotes the European Convention on Human Rights through the development
of targeted projects and the creation of working partnerships between public authorities and civil
society. As project leader I coordinated a variety of counter-radicalization projects centered on:·
The Balancing of relationships between state, nation and individuals
·
Minority rights
·
Security and social Justice
During my long mandates I supported through projects, articles, publications, social and media initiatives
and legitimate lobbying the development of independent governments who fully represent their nations, as
diverse communities where religious, ethnic and linguistic minorities see their equal rights respected under
the structure of the state. The European Convention on Human Rights is today the compass I use to
navigate the rights of individuals, communities and nations co-habiting under the organization of the
State.
Where I operate: In the South of Europe, in the Arab and Muslim world (Iraq, Syria, Libya, Egypt) and in the
Western Balkans. More than 126 missions between 2010 and 2014 to Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Turkey and Libya
under different institutional and media umbrellas with more than 35 strategic partnerships across Europe.
Today I am responsible for all initiatives aimed at raising funding and designing innovative projects to
counter violent extremism, insurgency and terrorism from a civil society perspective. Among my duties and
responsibilities:
-
Media production in conjunction with the local civil society
Need assessment in security-related issues with specific focus on minority groups and civil society
as essential components of stabilization/rehabitation/prevention processes
Identification of potential donors (regional, national, International)/funds/calls to meet the needs
Writing preliminary proposals shared with beneficiaries and stakeholders and designing innovative
projects through public-private partnerships and creative resources mobilizations
Mobilization of different stakeholders at bilateral and multi-bilateral levels
Field missions in war theaters to involve Media and international communities within the project
strategy
Social media campaign to raise awareness on the different grievances stemmed from the need
assessment
Project Coordination
Financial coordination
Writing interim and final reports in line with donor’s requirements
On behalf of Agenfor I am also a member of the EU Raising Awareness Network (RAN) where I am used to

I have managed more than 95 funded projects in the last 18 years. Below a short lists of the EU-funded
projects, I have managed as coordinator in the last 2 years:
MULTI-STAKEHOLDER STRATEGY: RECENT MULTI-MEDIA PRODUCTIONS
Part of my background is represented by the production of advanced and innovative researches supported
by Multi-Media Productions, to mobilize a vast array of stakeholders around complex issues. This
methodology has the objective to mobilize partnerships and consultation among governments, civil society,
and the private sector in critical countries to support international and national strategies to address the
local drivers of violent extremism. My latest production where I integrated field researches on the
phenomenon
of
Foreign
Fighters
with
media
production

http://www.agenformedia.com/eu-foreign-fighters-inukraine.html http://www.agenformedia.com/holy-wars-experiences-repentants-and-jihadists.html
This innovative methodology includes grassroots diplomatic missions, field visits, B2B meetings and PublicPrivate Partnerships. Relations with the Muslim minorities in Europe and capacity to manage highly
sensitive issues to promote community resilience is also part of this approach as proven by the unique
training courses I organize for Muslim Imams, that have also a substantial impact on the Italian media
