ASHRAE TU Student Chapter organized an audio-visual quiz with the objective
of enhancing technical skills of students. It was conducted in the college
campus on 15th October, 2014 with 60 registered teams, in groups of two.
The quiz consisted of a screening round, picture round, video round and finally
the rapid fire round. Screening round consisted of 14 written objective type
questions to be answered in 10 minutes. After calculating the scores of this
round, the top 4 teams qualified for the next round. In the picture round, teams
were asked 8 questions and the time given for each was 20 seconds. In the
video round, a video was shown to each team and 4 questions were asked
related to that video, which were to be answered in 30 seconds each. In rapid
fire round, 6 questions were asked and 10 seconds were given to each team to
answer the question. The participants enjoyed the quiz and had a good
experience. The winning team was of Varun Bansal and Vinay Mohinder Singh,
winning a cash prize of one thousand and six hundred rupees.
