INTRODUCTION
Electrical Engineering Department of National Institute of
Technology, Hamirpur is organizing a National Conference on
Advancements in Electrical Engineering and Energy Sciences
(AEEES - 2016) in collaboration with The Institution of Engineers
(India) HP State Centre, Shimla during May 24-25, 2016. We look
forward to your participation and support in making this conference
a success.
OBJECTIVE
Present conference has been conceived to bring together the
engineers,
scientists,
industrialists,
manufacturers,
and
researchers on common platform to share and exchange the
research findings including experimental and theoretical results,
novel designs, work-in-progress, experience, case studies, and
trend-setting ideas in the areas of electrical engineering and energy
sciences. The resource persons and researchers from different
fields will share their expertise with the academicians regarding the
state of art in the frontiers of Electrical Engineering and Energy
Sciences including various computational and modeling techniques
with case studies and concrete examples.

The scope of AEEES – 2016 will be broadly covering all areas in
Electrical Engineering, conventional and non-conventional energy
sources, theory, algorithm, programming, coding, high performing
computational techniques, software applications, modeling and

CALL FOR PAPERS
Original research papers on the conference themes are invited from
all prospective authors in IEEE format, double column single line
spacing on A4 size. The full length papers not exceeding 6 pages
shall be submitted to e-mail: [email protected].
The submission must be accompanied by complete details of
authors, their affiliation and email ID.
The authors will be informed about the acceptance of their paper
along with the instructions or reviewers comments (if any) for
preparing camera ready paper.
INVITED LECTURES
Eminent experts from esteemed organizations/institutions like IISC,
IITs, CPRI, BHEL and other renowned universities/organizations
will be requested to deliver key note addresses in the conference.

SOUVENIR
A souvenir will be printed and released to mark the occasion of the
conference. This will contain abstracts of accepted papers, invited

POSTER/PRODUCT DISPLAY
Industries and power companies are welcome to exhibit/display
products relevant to the themes of the conference. For this purpose,
a fee of Rs. 10,000/-, which includes the Registration fee for one
delegate, will be charged from the participating industry. Interested
parties may please contact the Organizers before 30th March, 2016
for further details.

TRAVEL, BOARDING AND LODGING ARRANGEMENTS
Travel, boarding and lodging expenses will have to be borne by the
delegates or their sponsoring organizations. Boarding and lodging
arrangements outside the campus are to be made by the delegates
themselves. The stay arrangement inside the campus can be
provided in the hostels subject to availability on first come first serve
basis.
ABOUT INSTITUTION
The National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur is one of the NIT’s
in the country established in 1985 as R.E.C and has started
functioning in 1986 and granted deemed university status in the
year 2002. The institute is located in the lush green pine forest
surroundings near Hamirpur town and overlooks the snow clad
mountains, which provide an excellent environment for academics.
During last few years NIT Hamirpur has grown tremendously as
Institute of national and International repute. During May the
weather is pleasant and temperature is about 320 C to 350C. The
nearest railway station is UNA (H.P., about 85 Km) and the nearest
airport is at GAGGAL (Kangra) (about 85 Km). Hamirpur is well
connected by road from major cities like Chandigarh and Shimla.

The official language of the conference is English.
