Ted Johnson

Ted Johnson
Ted Johnson is the Chief Hydrogeologist at the Water Replenishment District of Southern
California. He manages a team of scientists and engineers focused on projects related to aquifer
recharge, overdraft, seawater intrusion, regional groundwater monitoring, recycled water
recharge, and groundwater quality.
He has B.S. and M.S. degrees from California State University Fullerton, is a California
Professional Geologist and Certified Hydrogeologist, is the Vice President of the Groundwater
Resources Association of California, has over 26 years of experience in southern California
groundwater investigations, and has published papers and given many presentations on
groundwater topics to professional organizations.
