All camp activities take place in the
Wootton auditorium and surrounding classrooms. The areas are all
air conditioned, however, brief activities may take place outside.
Whether your child is an experienced actor, a shy kid, or someone
who simply entertains all, this is
definitely the camp for them!
Profits from this camp go to support
the curricular and extra-curricular
arts programs at Wootton including
the high quality theatrical
productions (such as Mary Poppins,
The Drowsy Chaperone, Romeo
and Juliet and Fools) the Wootton
Community has come to expect.

We are very excited to inaugurate our
first summer of musical theatre at Wootton for middle school students.
This comprehensive camp will culminate in
a performance of Legally Blonde Jr.—a
shorter version of Wootton’s 2016 Spring
Musical Legally Blonde. Enrolled students
will learn many of the same songs and
choreography and work with the actors
and technicians from the Wootton production.
Trained high school counselors from many
of the Wootton productions will work
under the guidance of Wootton Choral
Directors Carla Ingram and Keith
Schwartz along with Drama Director Mrs.
Jessica Speck and to make truly memorable experiences for your children!
In addition to learning the material specific
to the performance, campers will have the
opportunity to learn about lights, props
and costumes to support the show.

With performances July 1 at 3:00pm
and July 1 at 7:00pm
(Tickets are free to the performances)

t-shirt and all associated production costs.
Casting will be done on the afternoon of
Day 1 of Camp. All enrolled students will
be cast in one or more roles.
*Registrations received before May 5 receive a $25
discount.

Monday June 20, the first week of camp will meet from 9am to
4:30pm Tuesday June 21-Friday June 24 and then resume 9am3pm on Monday June 27.
