Upcoming Happenings March 17th – Family Science and Technology Night 6:30-8:00 March 23rd – Third Marking Period Ends March 24 th – No School for Students March 25th-April 1st Spring Break I Can Reading: We will read literary texts, this includes sensory words and phrases, illustrations and details to describe story elements. Also we will distinguish the differences between literary and informational texts. Writing: We will continue writing opinion, informative and explanatory pieces. We will develop ideas, organization, conventions, and descriptions with relevant details. This includes the study of human actions that harm the environment, sources and devices that use electricity. • Discuss and classify Earth's materials as natural or human-made. Social Studies: We will continue the study of natural and human resources used to produce goods, goods and services, and the purpose of jobs. Reminder: On days when we have a 2 hour delay there is no breakfast served at school.
