Introduction
 ICT can play an important role in helping disaster managers quickly
access, contextualize, and apply near real-time information.
 To improve the speed and effectiveness of critical actions like warning
populations at risk.
 Under rapid-technological advancement, ICT directly effect on several
dimensions of way life.
 Over the years, Thailand has seen a positive growth in broadband, in
term of both penetration and investment.
 In 2012, broadband access reached 21.77 percent of the overall
household. It moves to surpass 27.36 percent at the end of year 2014.
 Thailand realized that quality and performance on ICT infrastructure
directly affect developing countries as other countries concerned.

VISION
Thailand will transform its socioeconomic landscape
and business paradigm, through digital infrastructure
and innovation, leading to a steady growth in business
and economic activities as well as an inclusive
approach to social development
Goal
1. Pervasive digital infrastructure can be accessed seamlessly
and affordably by all.
2. Public services can be easily accessed by all.
3. New businesses and new jobs are generated.
4. Thai workforce is positioned and trained to compete in modern trade.
5. Digital Industries will contribute at least 18% to national GDP by 2018.
6. Digital business ecosystem is realized in response to the dynamics of digital economy.
7. Thailand’s ICT readiness is enhanced significantly.

 In 2011, Thailand witnessed its worst flooding in half a century, leaving severe
impairments to the country’s economy, industrial sector and society.
 Trying to cope with this problem in the future, many countries have upgraded
the infrastructure in handling with disaster.
 Information Monitoring Systems (IMS) is an ICT technique related to a class of
hierarchical fuzzy discrete dynamic systems
 IMS allows ones to perform monitoring of the process’ evolution and work out
strategic plans of process development
