OVERVIEW
The City of Las Vegas Public Works department is responsible for designing public roads, trails,
and sanitary sewer collection system and flood control facilities within the City limits. Engineers
in the division are also responsible for reviewing and approving developer studies and plans for
new city facilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist the team, as needed, with plan and specification development and review, study review
and administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Civil Engineering undergraduate student. Sophomore standing or higher at the end of Spring
Semester 2016.
