INTRODUZIONE
In questa Santa Messa si compirà il rito dell’ordinazione
sacerdotale di 35 diaconi. I candidati provengono dal
Brasile, Australia, Colombia, Spagna, Nuova Zelanda,
Francia, Stati Uniti, Germania, Ungheria, Guatemala e
dal Messico.
Il sacramento sarà conferito da Sua Eminenza, Cardinale
Velasio De Paolis, C.S., Presidente emerito della
Prefettura degli Affari Economici della Santa Sede. I
Legionari di Cristo nutrono sentimenti di grande stima e
gratitudine nei suoi confronti per il suo generoso
impegno come Delegato Pontificio per la Congregazione
e per il Movimento Regnum Christi dal 2010 al 2014.

Accanto all’altare si trova l’immagine della Vergine di
Guadalupe. Maria, che visse con Cristo e stette ai piedi
della croce di suo Figlio, ora si trova a fianco di coloro
che ricevono il sacerdozio di Gesù Cristo.
Ella presiede le ordinazioni sacerdotale dei Legionari di
Cristo. La Vergine disse a San Juan Diego, sulla collina
del Tepeyac: «Non temere, non sono qui io che sono tua
Madre? Non sei al riparo della mia ombra?» Queste
parole, consolatrici e materne, sono sempre una realtà
nella vita di ogni sacerdote e di tutti i cristiani.

se llevará a cabo el rito de la ordenación sacerdotal de 35 diáconos. Los
candidatos provienen de Brasil,

Alemania, Hungría, Guatemala y

During the celebration of this Mass,
35 deacons will be ordained to the
priesthood. The candidates are from
Brazil, Australia, Colombia, Spain,

On the hill of Tepeyac, Our Lady
said to Saint Juan Diego, “Don’t be
afraid! Am I not here, I who am your
mother? Are you not under my mantel?” These consoling and motherly
words accompany the life of every
priest and Christian.

Il rito dell’ordinazione sacerdotale ha luogo dopo il
Vangelo e si divide in tre parti: i riti preparatori, il rito
centrale dell’ordinazione ed i riti complementari.
Il rito preparatorio comprende la presentazione dei
candidati, l’omelia dell’ordinante, le promesse sacerdotali e la promessa d’obbedienza.
Il rito centrale a sua volta, comprende le litanie dei santi,
l’imposizione delle mani da parte del Vescovo e di
alcuni sacerdoti e, poi, la formula di consacrazione.
I riti complementari consistono nella vestizione degli
abiti sacerdotali, nell’unzione delle mani, nella consegna
del calice e della patena e nell’abbraccio della pace.

PREGHIERA DI ORDINAZIONE
L’ordinazione sacerdotale si realizza con l’imposizione delle mani e la
preghiera di consacrazione dell’ordinante. Il celebrante, in silenzio, impone le
mani sulla testa di ogni diacono. Questo gesto significa, fin dal tempo degli
apostoli, la trasmissione del potere sacramentale dello Spirito Santo. Una volta
terminata l’imposizione, alcuni dei superiori e sacerdoti, in rappresentazione
