Contro questa pubblicità a pagamento sugli autobus, non serve fare le crociate. Si tratta,
infatti, di misera arroganza, sfrontatezza e presunzione di persone, che si considerano sagge,
e che non hanno altri mezzi per sostenere le loro teorie.
This is a paid advertisement shown on buses. There is no need for crusades against it since it
shows the miserable arrogance, the impudence and presumption of people who perceive
themselves as wise, who have no other mean to back their theories up.
Per i veri credenti però, è l’ennesimo richiamo ad essere
cristiani credibili, dimostrando l'esistenza di Dio compiendo
quelle opere buone che riusciamo a fare grazie proprio
all’aiuto spirituale del Creatore: amare i nemici, saper
perdonare, sopportare il male, condividere ecc.. tutte cose,
in pratica, che sono molto difficili da compiere con le sole
forze umane.
For true believers, however, this is the just the umpteenth
reminder to be credible Christians and to show the existence
of God through the good deeds that we are able to do
especially thanks to the spiritual help that the Creator gives
us: love the enemy, forgiving, bearing evil, sharing and so
on. All things that are quite difficult to do on human strength
only.
In questo mondo, nel quale si prega molto meno rispetto al passato, il maligno opera con libertà e
tranquillità; per questo c’è bisogno di testimoni autentici del Risorto. Non è più tempo d’essere
cristiani solo di nome.
In our days when praying is done much less than in the past, Evil works and operates
freely and calmly; this is why we need genuine witnesses of the Resurrected One. There is
no time left to be Christians in name only.
Negli ultimi tempi, si è verificato un calo di fede e dei valori cristiani e per questo siamo chiamati ad una fede
vera e consapevole, fatta di testimonianze concrete e non di parole. Stiamo vivendo tempi tremendi, nei quali, si
usano tutti i mezzi per dissacrare ma noi, siamo più che convinti della vittoria finale di Cristo sul Male.
In the last few decades, there has been a drop in faith and in Christian values. We are
called, then, to a have a faith that is true and knowledgeable, one that is not just words but
that consists in solid witnessing. We are experiencing tremendous times, in which all means
possible are employed to desecrate; we are, nonetheless, convinced more than ever of
Christ’s final victory over Evil.
Purtroppo, anche alcuni servizi ed enti pubblici hanno perso il senso del sacro, o
del semplice rispetto, e per questo motivo dobbiamo fare sul serio. Dobbiamo
senza dubbio pregare molto di più e offrire a Dio sacrifici che costano davvero.
Sad to say, even some publicly-run offices and services have
lost the sense of sacredness, or even of pure and simple
respect. This is why we need to be serious about it. No doubt,
we have to pray a lot more and offer God sacrifices that are
actually meaningful to us.
Credo, infine, che prevarrà il buon senso della gente perché, se è vero che non
si può dimostrare scientificamente l'esistenza di Dio, è pur vero il contrario e
in pratica che nessuno può dimostrare la non esistenza di Dio. Siamo di fronte
a povera gente che crede davvero di ottenere ciò che neanche settanta anni di
comunismo in Russia ha ottenuto.
I believe, finally, that the people’s good sense will prevail because, if it is true that God’s
existence cannot be scientifically proven, the opposite is also true and that no human can
actually disprove God’s existence. We are looking at a wretched bunch that really believes
to obtain what seventy years of communism did not get in Russia.
