SANTISSIMA TRINITA’ – HOLY TRINITY
Mosè si alzò di
buon mattino e
salì sul monte
Sinai, come gli
aveva ordinato
il Signore, e
prese nella sua
mano le due
tavole di
pietra. Il
Signore scese
nella nuvola e
si tenne là
presso di lui ed
egli invocò il
nome del
Signore.
Moses. rose

Sinai as Yahweh
had
commanded,
taking in his
hands the two
slabs of stone.
And Yahweh
came down in a
cloud and stood
there with him,
and Moses
called on the
name of

Il Signore passò

Poi disse: «Se ho trovato grazia ai tuoi occhi, mio Signore, venga il mio
Signore in mezzo a noi, perché quello è un popolo duro di cervice; perdona la
nostra colpa e il nostro peccato e prendici in eredità». (Es 34, 9)
He then said, "If you really look kindly on me, my Lord, please come and walk in our
midst and even though we are a stiff-necked people, pardon our wickedness and our
sin and make us yours." (Ex 34, 9)

condannare il

18 Maggio 2008, la Parola di Dio, ci dice
May 18th 2008, the Holy Word says to us
La solennità della SS. Trinità ci aiuta ad
approfondire il mistero di Dio per averne maggiore
conoscenza. L’umanità, infatti, ha conosciuto Dio in tre
diverse manifestazioni: quella del Padre, creatore di
tutto; del Figlio, che ha assunto la materia umana, e
dello Spirito che, da sempre, opera nel mondo.
In questi tre aspetti, la caratteristica comune è
l’Amore. La creazione dell’universo (e dell’uomo),
fatta per Amore; il sacrificio della Croce, per Amore e
l’azione dello Spirito, che con amore, guida e protegge
i credenti e la Chiesa tutta. Un solo Dio=Amore, in tre
persone, conosciute dall’umanità. Tre persone unite
dall’Amore, nell’Amore, che è donazione, perdono,
misericordia, comunione, grazia. Un unico Dio tre
volte amabile: nella Parola, nell’Incarnazione e
nell’Azione continua di purificazione e santità.
Nel Dio Amore troviamo il Suo volto puro che merita
tutta la nostra lode e devozione. Come Dio ha creato,
perdonato e salvato l’uomo per Amore, così ogni
essere umano dovrebbe amare la Santissima Trinità per
una libera scelta d’Amore. Il nostro Dio non obbliga
nessuno a credere in Lui, a servirlo e lodarlo, ma Egli
merita, da ciascuno di noi, un libero atto di donazione
e d’Amore puro. Questa è la vera fede. LA FEDE E’
LA SFIDA TRA LA RAGIONE UMANA E DIO,
CHE NON HA BISOGNO DI DIMOSTRARE
NULLA, PERCHE' EGLI E' SORGENTE DEL
PURO AMORE!

The solemnity of the Holy Trinity helps us to deepen
our understanding of God’s mystery so that we can have a
greater knowledge of Him. Humanity, in fact, knows God
in three different ways that He has become manifest: as
the Father, creator of all things; the Son, who took on a
human nature; and, as the Spirit which has been working
in the world all along. Love is the characteristic that these
three manifestations share. Out of Love, the Father
created the universe and man; for Love, Jesus gave
Himself through the Sacrifice of the Cross; and, with
Love, the Holy Spirit guides and protects believers and
the Church in its entirety. One Sole God is the equivalent
of Love in three Persons as humanity knows Him. Three
Persons joined by Love, in the Love that is donation,
forgiveness, mercy, communion, grace. One sole God
lovable three times over: in the Word, in the Incarnation
and in the uninterrupted Action of purification and
sanctity. In God-Love, we discern His pure features that
deserve our praise and devotion. As God created, forgave
and saved mankind out of Love, so each of us ought to
make a choice to Love the Holy Trinity out our own
free will. Our God imposes on no one to believe in Him,
serve and praise Him although He deserves, from each
of us, that we give ourselves to Him freely and that we
correspond to Him a Love that is pure. This is true faith.
FAITH IS THE CHALLENGE THAT RUNS BETWEEN
HUMAN REASON AND GOD, WHO NEEDS TO
DEMONSTRATE NOTHING FOR HE IS THE SOURCE
OF PURE LOVE!
