Saying that school is a "training for life" is not a simple shared aphorism or a mere rhetoric. School teaches
how to "train the mind and the muscles of knowledge", prepares young people to deal with social life with
“solid wings" and aims to give them their own identity.
The Headmaster
The headteacher manages the organization of
the school, which is a complex system, he must
integrate the contributions of the different
components (pedagogical, educational,
technical, administrative ...) to bring them back
to unity, in view of the service school.

Since 1998 the institute includes the Territorial Centre for Education and Lifelong Learning.
The center E. D. A. operates in Noto, Avola, Rosolini and Pachino providing a range of services to Italian and
foreign citizens and also operates in the prison of Noto.
In the center there are:
6 teachers of Italian language;
3 teachers of French / English;
3 teachers of Mathematics;
1 teacher of technical education;
4 primary school teachers.
The school is home for examinations of
knowledge of the Italian language in
order to have a residence permit from
the Prefecture of Syracuse..
