Because he knew that a Pakistani businessman was prepared to pay $50,000 for it, he immediately decided to go and cash the money. 16/07/2016 Pierluigi Pittin e Andrea Guberti, liceo scientifico A. Oriani, 1C 4 MUSTAPHA ZAHER Mustapha Zaher, director general of the Nationl Environmental Protection Agency (N.E.P.A) in Kabul took the happening to heart and decided to help the leopard. 16/07/2016 Pierluigi Pittin e Andrea Guberti, liceo scientifico A. Oriani, 1°C 5 THE RESCUE The U.S Ambassador, a contingent of German Troops based in that region and the Afghan president were all involved in the rescue operation which lasted four days. Oriani, 1°C 6 THE TENDING IN CAPTIVITY The leopard was tended by Richard Fite a vet who worked for the U.S Agricoltural Department in Afghanistan.
