Description
• The Reading component contains five parts /35
questions
• The Writing component contains three parts
/seven questions
Students need to be able to read texts from signs,
newspapers and magazines and understand the
main points. They will need to show they can use
vocabulary and structure by completing tasks
such as producing a short message, and writing a
story or letter of around 100 words.

• The paper contains four parts and it lasts
about 30 minutes plus 6 minutes to transfer
answers

Paper format
• Speaking contains 4 parts (about 10-12

• The standard format is two candidates and
two examiners, one acts as both interlocutor
and assessor and the other acts as an assessor
and does not join in the conversation
