19.05.2014 PRESS RELEASE New Board of Directors at Generali Investments Europe: Francesco Benvenuti appointed Chairman Santo Borsellino confirmed as company’s CEO Milan – Generali Investments Europe, Generali Group’s main asset management company with more than €340 billion AUM, recently appointed the new members of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the company for the period 2014 to 2016. Santo Borsellino has been confirmed Chief Executive Officer of the company. Three directors complete Generali Investments Europe’s BoD: Maurizio Verbich, who is also Chief Investment Officer of Generali Italia S.p.A., and the independent directors Antonella Baldino and Mirella Pellegrini. Baldino has been Advisor to the Italian Ministry of Economic Development since January 2014, and gained wide experience in the financial and economic sector before, among others at UniCredit Group, the World Bank and the United Nations. Pellegrini is Professor of financial law at the Luiss University Rome. Before, she held several academic positions at Luiss University and University of Bologna. Generali Investments Europe also confirmed all current members of the Board of Auditors, Angelo Venchiarutti as Chairman, Luca Camerini and Roberto Lonzar as Regular Auditors, as well as Anna Bruno and Nicola Serafini as Substitute Auditors.
