Homework: Due Friday, Jan. 15th
FYI: the conference will be here on campus
Your homework this week is to help your
child complete the Pattern Strip Worksheet.
You will need to walk your child through each
line of the worksheet.
Homework: Due Friday, Jan. 15th
Your homework this week is to help your child
complete the winter mini book. Allow your child to
color the pictures. After coloring, have your child
cut on the line to separate the pages. Then have
your child put the pages in numerical order to
form a book. When finished, read the story to
your child. After the first reading, your child
should be able to read it to you.
Return book by Friday to receive your volunteer
hour for the week.
Have your child make his/her own pattern on
each line of circles. For example: your child
might color a red, blue, red, blue, red, blue,
etc pattern on the first strip. Then on the next
line he/she might do a red, red, blue, blue,
red, red, blue, blue, etc pattern.
The point of this assignment is for your child
to realize that he/she can make his/her own
pattern and it’s not just Ms. Zellers telling
them what pattern to make. 
If you have any questions, please ask.
