The week kicks off with the annual Rodeo Drive Concours d' Elegance on June 19 and ends with the Gran Fondo, a traditional Italian long-distance cycling event, on June 26. During the week, enthusiasts are invited to experience exclusive promotions and events including specialty prix fixe menus at Italian restaurants, special offers and Italian cinema. Prix Fixe Menus A number of Italian restaurants in Beverly Hills join in the Italian Week celebration, offering an enticing prix fixe menu created especially to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. Diners can select from an assortment of Italian dishes during each course: ‘Primi Piatti,’ ‘Secondi Piatti,’ and ‘Dolce,’ ranging from $28 to $60 per person. Registered participants and enthusiastic supporters will line up on Rodeo Drive for the start of the ride which will ultimately send cyclists west on Wilshire Boulevard toward Santa Monica and the ocean. Cyclists will make their way back to 9900 Wilshire Boulevard to celebrate the afternoon with friends and family at the Gran Fondo Cycling Expo.
