Under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles and in collaboration with the Italian Trade Commission to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of
the Unification of Italy, “La Dolce Vita Beverly Hills” will celebrate Italian automobiles, cinema, jewelry, cycling and cuisine from June 18-26. The week kicks off with
the annual Rodeo Drive Concours d' Elegance on June 19 and ends with the Gran
Fondo, a traditional Italian long-distance cycling event, on June 26. During the week,
enthusiasts are invited to experience exclusive promotions and events including
specialty prix fixe menus at Italian restaurants, special offers and Italian cinema.
Prix Fixe Menus
A number of Italian restaurants in Beverly Hills join in the Italian Week celebration, offering an
enticing prix fixe menu created especially to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the
unification of Italy. Diners can select from an assortment of Italian dishes during each course:
‘Primi Piatti,’ ‘Secondi Piatti,’ and ‘Dolce,’ ranging from $28 to $60 per person. Visit

“Gioiello” Days Celebrating Italian Jewelry

This year's Concours is themed The Art of Italian Motoring and will feature a fantastic selection of
Alfa Romeos, Ferraris, Fiats and Lamborghinis along with legendary Italian motorcycles like Ducattis,
Vespas and Lambrettas. FIAT is the 2011 Honored Marque and will prominently feature the 2012
Fiat 500, as well as offer ride-and-drive opportunities for guests in the 2012 Fiat 500. Other modes
of Italian transportation will also be on display including a rare chance to view an authentic 38-foot
gondola from the canals of Venice, Italy on Two Rodeo’s Via Rodeo. Be a part of the unique mix of
guests at this free event which kicks off Italian Week in Beverly Hills.
Cinecittà Luce

On June 24, Cinecittà Luce, Italy’s most famous film studio will celebrate Italian Cinema at the
Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in Beverly Hills with a premiere screening of the film
“Nessuno mi puo’ giudicare.” The film recently won three David di Donatello Awards - also known
as the Italian Oscars. Today, Cinecittà Luce is one of the main actors in the film industry, which
works to support the development and promotion of Italian cinema in Italy and abroad, and is
distinguished by its ability to integrate different areas of activity, essential for dealing in a competitive

Gran Fondo
Sunday, June 26th, 7:00am
Beginning on Rodeo Drive and ending at 9900 Wilshire Boulevard
Italian Week in Beverly Hills culminates in the debut of the first Gran Fondo cycling event to take
place in the Los Angeles area. Registered participants and enthusiastic supporters will line up on
Rodeo Drive for the start of the ride which will ultimately send cyclists west on Wilshire Boulevard
toward Santa Monica and the ocean. Cyclists will make their way back to 9900 Wilshire Boulevard
to celebrate the afternoon with friends and family at the Gran Fondo Cycling Expo.
