A handling fee of 20% is deducted for cancellation. Refund requests must be received by
postal mail, email or fax forty days prior to this activity. No refunds will be made

Who Should Attend
Pediatric and adult gastroenterologists, nurses with interest in pediatric therapeutic digestive
endoscopy and hands-on training activities.
The 2° PETDW
This is the second three day long high-level workshop designed primarily for practicing
physicians in the fields of pediatric gastroenterology, endoscopy and overall therapeutic
pediatric endoscopy who are seeking up-to-date information that can be applied to clinical
practice.
After the success of the first workshop, we would like to offer again this unique opportunity
for hands-on experience with endoscopic therapeutic techniques and their clinical application
in children.
The local and invited national and international guest faculty represents recognized experts
and thought leaders in this special field in pediatric gastroenterology and digestive
therapeutic endoscopy. Their fantastic collaboration was the key of the first PETDW success
in 2014.
We repeat the format of the first PETDW with a mixture of light presentations on current
topics, review lectures, point-counterpoint presentations on controversial issues, with live
procedure transmission from the endoscopic suite to the conference hall. As in the 2014
PETDW everybody could assist, without filters or simulations, to different and complex
therapeutic endoscopic procedures with the opportunity of a full and extensive discussions of
different aspects (indications, complications, different options, technical aspects,….) with
the faculty in the hall and in the endoscopic suite.
The live endoscopic procedures are performed by the faculty experts.
At the European Endoscopic Training Centre (EETC), Catholic University School of Medicine,
Rome, there will be personal hands-on endoscopy simulation training stations, for
therapeutic procedures using animals models and electronic simulator. Participants will use
instruments and accessories under the supervision of faculty experts.
The Live Sections will also be broadcast by internet web-based video streaming.
