ASAS targets and actions
Main Target : TO FOSTER Devepoment of SPACE APPLICATIONS and SERVICES
SPACE Applications and Services sector has not been edequately supported by Public
Authorities, including Space Agencies/Entities
Italian Space Industry plays since many dacades an important role in the international
context cooperating in particular with most of the Space E.U. Companies. ASAS is very
active in promoting the international cooperation.
Innovative and very promising applications activities have been identified by Industry where
SMEs could play a significant role and find room for growing , some examples are :
- Green Energy facilities management, control and security
- Railways safety and signalling control (low capacity lines)
- Integrated GNSS based evoluted added value applications and
services ( PRS )

 To Harmonize the E.U. Legal Scenario
 To promote the use by the Local Authorities/Entities of Space based
Services - “readiness to be a major player”
