Improving visibility and access to project results! European Shared Treasure A database for the dissemination of good practice •Capitalise on the immense treasure of experiences to be found in the framework of decentralised actions of Socrates Programme, i.e. Comenius and Grundtvig partnerships •Show how these projects work towards the "Education and Training 2010" objectives. A common metadata model and multilingual retrieval tools, allow for simultaneous searches Strong points to fill in by schools and institutions User friendliness •• Easy Easy to install and mantain by Agencies • User friendly for research • Open to public users Efficiency many fields in EST are pre-filled through imported data from Soclink Compatibility with European and world-wide acknowledged standards (Dublin Core, Isced, Nuts, European Treasury Browser) Multilingualism National language versions for DATA INPUT and SEARCH Multilingualism Data input Is performed using a common metadatamodel available in different national language versions Display of results • The Search page is translated in national languages • The use of a vehicular language in project’s and product’s descriptions allows consultation by users from different countries Multilingualism Input in national languages Projects and Products EST will document activities carried out by schools and adult education organisations in the framework of Comenius 1 and Grundtvig 2 partnerships covering all main aspects Project Partnership Topics and subjects Products Metadata model Project BASIC DATA - Project Code* - Action: Comenius/ Grundtvig* - Vehicular language: EN/FR/DE *Pre-filled from Soclink - Title in national language* - Title EN/FR/DE - Description in national language - Description EN/FR/DE A free text abstract (1000 k) focusing on the most important features of the project: objectives, themes, methodology, activities, results and benefits for the participants.
