Nella Napoli del 1700 un giovanotto elegante e di
bell’aspetto girovagava per le vie della città … via
Caracciolo, Posillipo, Mergellina. Sorriso accattivante,
portamento sicuro ma soprattutto elegante; era la sua
eleganza che affascinava: la giacca finemente rifinita, la
camicia con la sua preziosa bottoniera, il pantalone
perfettamente cucito … era fascino, fascino allo stato
puro! Giovani donne, sguardi più maturi, uomini un po’
gelosi ammiccavano al suo passaggio.
Chi era ? Era Giangi, il giovanotto di patrizia famiglia
che, pago del suo “Grand Tour” europeo, era tornato a
casa, sia per godere del clima mite sia per “riassortire” il
suo guardaroba : dall’abito da sera, al completo da
caccia, da sfoggiare nelle numerose occasioni mondane.
Quale città, infatti, se non la sua fatata Napoli, lo poteva
meglio fornire di tutto ciò di cui un uomo elegante
abbisogna?
In the Naples of 1700 a young, posh and handsome man,
was walking around the city, through alleys and
streets… via Caracciolo, Posillipo, Mergellina.
Although the winsome smile and the confident attitude,
was his elegance to fascinate people: the refined jacket,
the shirt with its precious buttons, the perfectly sewed
trousers … it was charm, pure charm! Young ladies,
simple people and even some jealous men staring him
admired. Who was he? He was Giangi, a young heir of a
noble family who, satisfied of his “big Tour” around the
Europe, had just come back home, to enjoy the mild
climate and to “sort out” his wardrobe: from the
evening dress to the hunting one, many different suits
to show his elegance in every social occasion.
Which town, in fact, if not his enchanted Naples, could
provide for him everything an elegant man needs?
Today, as in the past, Giangi still enchants with
his manners and his way of being. No, it is not a
ghost , it is a realty, born as a case and as a challenge…. When the strength of ideas and hard
working meet, like the ancient Arabian phoenix,
Giangi rises itself from the ashes of a not so

Oggi come ieri Giangi continua ad affascinare
con i suoi modi e con le sue sembianze. No, non
è un fantasma ma un connubio, nato un po’ per
caso un po’ per sfida … Quando si incontrano la
forza delle idee e la maestria operosa, come
l’araba fenice, “Giangi” rinasce dalle ceneri di
un passato non troppo lontano ed il sogno
prende vita per approdare in nuovi lidi che ne
apprezzino il garbato imporsi e il fascino di chi
è padrone del proprio mestiere.
Nasce così un nuovo marchio, in cui l’eccellenza,
la raffinatezza, il bon ton partenopeo, si
coniugano con il gusto per l’innovazione e la
ricerca.
