Dr. J. Jean Mitchell
I am a Professor of Anatomy and Physiology in the
science department.
My Doctorate of Neuroscience is from the University
of Florida’s College of Medicine.
My B.S. is in Zoology, also from the University of
Florida (Go Gators!).
My neuroscientific research interests include the
effects of aging on central nervous system function
(Alzheimer Disease), the effects of alcohol on
nervous system development (Fetal Alcohol
Syndrome) as well as studying the complex processes
associated with learning and memory.
