I teach English six hours per week at the fine art academy in Bergamo. I am the only
language teacher at the academy, responsible for the linguistic development and
subsequent assessment of each student that passes through the school.

My role at Encanto was to summarise reviews of Blackberry smartphones in the
Italian press into the English language. The reviews arrived early morning and the
summarised versions were to be sent to RIM’s London offices by midday. Other
