VELM è stata fondata nel 1961 e da allora è impegnata nel
settore automobilistico, in parti di ricambio, accessori auto
e sicurezza. La sede è ad Agrate Brianza (a ca. 30 Km - Nord
di Milano) mentre, la società consociata, fondata nel 1990 si
trova a Turnov (a ca. 100 km a nord di Praga – in Rep. Ceca).
Attualmente il “core-business” di VELM consiste nella produzione di cinture di sicurezza per veicoli speciali,
l’industria del sedile e i veicoli commerciali per trasporto
di persone o merci, per veicoli militari, per sistemi integrati
in sedili per conducente e passeggeri di bus, pullman, autocarri, carrelli elevatori, autocarri, così come per veicoli pesanti, macchine movimento terra e veicoli agricoli.
VELM è sinonimo di sicurezza, basata su oltre 40 anni di esperienza. La società oggi esporta in più di 30 paesi nel mondo. Grazie alla cooperazione con la multinazionale Autoliv, società leader
nel settore automobilistico, VELM ha accesso ad una più ampia
gamma di componenti per realizzare i suoi sistemi di sicurezza.
Qualità, flessibilità e affidabilità così come lo sviluppo
di cinture di sicurezza “su misura”, anche per piccole e medie
quantità, sono per VELM di massima priorità. La società pone
grande importanza sul contatto diretto e la stretta collaborazione
coi suoi clienti al fine di trovare soluzioni veloci e semplici, tramite
lo sviluppo di nuovi sistemi di sicurezza, di cui poi gestisce gli
ordinativi in modo altrettanto flessibile ed affidabile.
VELM può portare a termine progetti in breve tempo, ponendo
particolare attenzione alle necessità ed alle idee dei suoi clienti,
analizzando il contesto applicativo e sviluppando in stretta cooperazione con loro dei sistemi di ritenzione personalizzati e sicuri. Il servizio va dal progetto in 3D, allo sviluppo tecnico fino al
completamento dell’iter omologativo.
Nel campo di R&D (Ricerca e Sviluppo) VELM si avvale anche
delle innovazioni introdotte da Autoliv che ha numerosi centri di
ricerca e sviluppo all’avanguardia in tutto il mondo.
Qualità e Certificazioni
I prodotti sono sottoposti a severi controlli sui materiali ed a prove
di funzionalità durante la fase di sviluppo e prima della produzione in serie. Fra queste prove quella della resistenza meccanica,
della durata nel tempo, test climatici e prove di corrosione.
VELM assicura un costante livello di qualità con collaudi regolari
della produzione corrente e verifiche di conformità sulle linee. I
controlli a campione sulle merci in entrata garantiscono che solo
componenti perfetti possano essere utilizzati nella produzione. Il
processo manifatturiero si completa con una ispezione finale del
100% dei prodotti.
Il sistema di qualità VELM è basato su ISO 9001-2009 e sulla COP
(Conformity of Production) prescritte dall’ istituto di omologazione. VELM garantisce la massima qualità e l’affidabilità grazie
alle quali può ottenere facilmente la conformità a qualsiasi
standard internazionale, come
ad esempio CEE, FMVSS, SAE,
ISO ecc..

VELM was founded in 1961 and since then has been involved
in automotive, spare-parts and car safety. The headquarter is
based in Agrate Brianza (ca. 30 km north of Milan), while the
daughter company, founded in 1990 is based in Turnov (ca.
100 km north of Prague – CZ Rep.).
Today VELM‘s core business is “manufacturer of seat belts”
for: special vehicles, seat industry commercial and military vehicles, integrated seat belts for driver and passengers
seats in busses, coaches, lorries, forklift, trucks as well as in
heavy duty vehicles, earth moving and agricultural vehicles.
VELM wurde 1961 gegründet und ist seitdem in der Automobilbranche tätig. Der Hauptsitz befindet sich in Agrate Brianza (ca. 30km nördlich Mailands) während die Tochtergesellschaft 1990 in Turnov (ca. 100 Km nördlich Prag - CZ Rep.)
gegründet wurde. Heute liegt VELMs Kernkompetenz in der
Herstellung von Sicherheitsgurten für spezielle Fahrzeuge,
Sitze in industriellen, kommerziellen und militärischen Fahrzeugen, integrierte Sicherheitssysteme für Fahrer- und Passagiersitze in Bussen, LKWs, Gabelstaplern, Erdbewegungsmaschinen und landwirtschaftlichen Fahrzeugen.

of the car industry, VELM has access to a much wider product
range of components to built its safety systems.

3D technical development to homologations accomplishments.
In the field of R&D (research & development) makes also use of
the innovations lead from Autoliv, who has major research and
development engineering centers world-wide.

Quality and Certificates
Products are subjected to the strictest material and function tests
during development stage and prior to serial application. Among
these tests are: proof of mechanical stability, extended endurance tests, climatic and corrosion tests.
VELM ensures consistent good quality by regular testing of parts
from the current production, COP (Conformity of Production).
Spot inspections in the goods inwards guarantee that only
parts of perfect quality will enter the production. Manufacturing
is continuously monitored and the process is completed with a
100% final check.
VELM quality system is based on ISO 9001-2009 and on COP
surveillance by the homologation institute.
VELM can thereby ensure utmost quality and reliability and by all
restrain system is able to achieve conformity according to any
international standard, such as EC, FMVSS, SAE, ISO etc.

dans l‘automobile, les pièces de rechange et dans la sécurité
des voitures. Le siège social est à Agrate Brianza (environ 30
km au nord de Milan) tandis que, la société affilée, fondée en
1990 est à Turnov (environ 100 km au nord de Prague – Rép
Tchèque). Aujourd‘hui le „core-business“ de VELM est fabricant de ceintures de sécurité pour: les véhicules spéciaux,
l‘industrie du siège, le véhicule commercial et militaire, les
ceintures de sécurité à système intégré pour les sièges du
conducteur et du passager dans les petits bus, les autocars,
les camions, les grues, les chariots élévateurs, les véhicules
pour le déplacement de terre et les véhicules agricoles.
VELM est synonyme de sécurité, basée sur presque 40
ans d‘expérience et aujourd‘hui elle exporte dans plus de 30 pays
dans le monde. Grâce à sa coopération avec le Groupe Autoliv, une
société “leader“ de l‘industrie d‘automobile, VELM a accès à une
gamme beaucoup plus large de produits pour réaliser ses systèmes
de sécurité. La qualité, la flexibilité et la fiabilité ainsi
que le développement de ceintures „personnalisées“, même pour
des quantités petites ou moyennes, sont sa priorité.
VELM donne une grande importance au contact direct et à la coopération étroite avec ses clients, afin de trouver des solutions
rapides et simples pour le développement de nouveaux systèmes.
Les commandes sont acheminées avec flexibilité et fiabilité.
VELM est en mesure d’accomplir ces tâches rapidement, tout en
prêtant attention aux désirs et aux idées des clients: on analyse
leurs besoins et leurs idées, on étudie le contexte d’application
et on développe, en étroite collaboration avec eux, des systèmes
personnalisés et sûrs. Le service va du projet en 3D, au développement technique jusqu’à arriver à l’obtention de l’homologation.
Dans le domaine de la “Recherche et Développement” VELM
bénéficie aussi de l‘avance dans l’innovation d‘Autoliv, qui a de
nombreux centres de recherche et de développement de pointe

Vor der Serienanwendung werden alle Produkte während der Entwicklung strengen Material- und Funktionstests unterworfen, die
aus Prüfung der mechanische Stabilität und Standfestigkeit und
aus Klima- und Korrosionstests bestehen.
VELM kann durch regelmäßige Kontrollen der laufenden Produktion (COP - Übereinstimmung der Produktion) eine beständig
gute Qualität zusichern und garantiert, dass nur Teile mit vollkommener Beschaffenheit in die Produktion einfließen. Dieser
enorm hohe Qualitätsanspruch wird ferner durch eine ständige
Überwachung des Fertigungsverfahrens und eine 100%ige Endkontrolle erreicht.
VELMs Qualitätssystem beruht
auf ISO 9001-2009 und COPÜberwachung des ZulassungsInstitutes, wodurch VELM
höchste Qualität und Zuverlässigkeit zusichern kann und mit allen
Sicherheitsgurten die Übereinstimmung für jeden internationalen Standard wie ECE,
FMVSS, SAE, ISO, etc. besteht.
Les produits de VELM sont soumis aux tests de matériel les plus
stricts et à des tests de fonctionnement pendant le développement et avant la fabrication en série. Ces tests prévoient la résistance mécanique, la durabilité prolongée, les tests climatiques et
les tests de corrosion.
VELM assure un niveau constant de la qualité grâce à des inspections régulières de la production courante et des vérifications
de la conformité de la production. Les contrôles sur les marchandises en entrée garantissent que l’on utilise seulement les composants parfaits dans la production. Le processus manufacturier
termine par une inspection finale de 100% des produits.
Le système de qualité VELM est basé sur l‘ISO 9001-2009 et sur
la surveillance (COP) et sur les contrôles de conformité de production effectués par l‘institut d‘homologation.
